About

Hi, I'm Shawn.

I'm a business intelligence and data-visualization analyst. I build dashboards and reports in Power BI and Tableau, and Tall Order Digital is where I do my own work.

This site is for data stories: questions worth asking, answered with real data and drawn so you can see the answer. I start with the NBA because basketball is full of numbers people argue about, and most of those arguments come down to the same thing: how much can you trust what you're seeing?

Each story says where its data comes from, how much of it there is, and where the answer is uncertain.
